Box Lake - The
trailhead is 11 miles up Lick Creek Rd from McCall. The trail is 3.5 miles long and
suggested as an overnight hike for many people. The
trail
switchbacks for 800 feet in the first mile and continues to be steep for
another mile. It is one of the bigger lakes in the area.
Duck Lake -
Easy and Fun. This is a short hike of approximately 2 miles round trip with little
elevation gain. Duck Lake sits in a wooded area with a meadow at the upper end and several
campsites at the lower end.

Aerobic ! The new trailhead takes off from Duck Lake. Both lakes are at approximately 6800
feet. To reach Hum Lake you have to climb to 7800 feet, cross a saddle and then drop down
to approximately 6800 feet to the Lake.
